So there I was the other week with a new client and we talked about her obstacles…
“my husband”
“he is always working and when he comes home it is too late to do anything” (and I am pretty sure my queen has felt this way about me the odd time)
Sometimes your nearest and dearest are actually making you FAT.
I hear this all the time.
“He insists on eating crap in front of me”
You are going to have two sorts of folks in your life when it comes to doing anything…
One set will lift you up. Believe in you. Listen.Help.
The others will give you the biggest kick in the teeth. And sometimes they are closer than you think…
One of the best things you can do to stick to a plan is actually enlist a few buddies.
Not the ones who become that passive- type of pain in the ass, but the ones who will be there for you…
Dark hours…
Can’t be bothered moments…Because rest assured they will be the ones silencing that wee gremlin in your head that enjoys cookies and TV repeats back to back.
Telling your friends, family and nearest and dearest that you are starting a health kick or program is one of the best ways of ensuring that you are not lurking in the shades and actually sticking to your guns.
I think it is the pain of your friend asking you
“How’s that plan working for you Julie?”
Cue the red face as you realize that in your bagis the remnants of your fourth chocolate bar….
That is why we make it easy for folks down at Sphere by training in groups…
…top class coaching in a group.
…a community that WANT you to succeed
…a team that will tell you what you DON’T WANT TO HEAR BUT NEED TO HEAR
Have an awesome day
Yours in health
